Phillips Craig & Dean PHILLIPS, CRAIG & DEAN For Randy Phillips, Shawn Craig and Dan Dean—Phillips, Craig & Dean—the thing they absolutely love to do is ministry through music. More succinctly put: These guys love-love-LOVE to sing about God. Their individual lives are steeped in local church ministry, but it’s the power of song that keeps them coming back to the studio and stage. In recent years, the band has left behind its mainstream roots and focused on more worship- oriented music. All three men are full-time pastors and make it a priority to be at their respective churches for Sunday services. And way beyond the 10 albums, 18 No.1 singles and 2 million+ records sold in the past 16 years, the story of God’s grace in their lives just keeps getting bigger. The only way they could stop singing is to stop breathing, which is unlikely, because these Pastors just inhaled their second wind. The latest project from Phillips, Craig & Dean, "Top Of My Lungs", brilliantly captures the loud, boisterous excitement and joy these guys feel when they open their mouths to sing of God’s bigger-than-life grace. The East Coast Worship Summit Welcomes Phillips Craig and Dean! www.phillipscraiganddean.com
Jeff Deyo JEFF DEYO Jeff Deyo is one of the premier songwriters and worship leaders of today. As the voice behind the songs, “ I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever,” ”In the Secret” and “My Refuge,” which he recorded with the original Dove Award winning group Sonicflood, Jeff has helped invigorate the heart of worship for an entire generation. He has hit #1 many times with favorites, “More Love, More Power,” “Bless The Lord,” and “As I Lift You Up,” These songs are just a few songs that are sung in churches throughout the world. Jeff has lead worship for conferences and summits all over the world. It is these events that seem to fuel Jeff’s passion. “Worship is not a new thing. Worship existed before Adam was created. Worship is a lifestyle-it’s obedience, it’s loving your wife; its obeying your parents. Modern worship music is defined by songs that continue to bring a freshness to honoring and exalting our Creator that is relevant to our time.” We are excited to welcome Jeff Deyo to the East Coast Worship Summit! www.jeffdeyo.com
Paul Baloche PAUL BALOCHE Paul Baloche is a worshipper. Whether leading worship in his home church in Texas, standing on a stage in a foreign country singing with other believers or praising God in the privacy of his own home, worshipping God is simply what Baloche does. And it’s that heart for God that fuels his creativity as a songwriter.

Paul’s spiritual journey began in a most unusual place—at a business convention. “That’s my testimony,” says the New Jersey native, across the bridge from Philadelphia. “I was playing clubs around Philly and the Jersey Shore and a friend took me to a “How to get rich” - type weekend. On Sunday morning they had a band playing ‘How Great Thou Art’ with drums and electric guitars. I was blown away and I thought “That’s amazing, just the power of rock music with lyrics about the Lord. I’d never heard that. It really impacted me. My brother and I walked up and made a commitment to follow Jesus.” It was a radical change for me.

Paul is a man who takes his calling very seriously. “I think one of our responsibilities in writing worship songs is to be conscious that we are trying to create a sense of community when we write these songs,” he says. “We are trying to use songs as a vehicle and a tool to bring people together and sing our prayers collectively to God. Participation is the key word. A good worship song invites the person to participate in it, not to listen passively. It kind of compels the listener to participate in this prayer and sing it to God.”

Paul Baloche’s latest Album through Integrity “ A Greater Song” has many songs sung in the church today such as “Hosanna,” “Rising,” “Here and Now” and “Because of Your Love,” just to name a small few. He is an author and teacher and we are so excited to have him speak, teach and lead us in worship! www.leadworship.com

Steve Fee STEVE FEE Steve Fee remembers standing on a stage before his high-school peers with little musical ability and even less worship leading experience. How times change. Since the early days, he’s been featured at Passion and Catalyst conferences, at 7:22, and also as worship leader at North Point Community Church in Atlanta, one of the nation’s fastest growing churches. Steve is also the front man for new INO Records signing, rock-worship band Fee, which released its debut album We Shine this past fall. Joined by fellow worship leaders Matt Adkins (guitar), Heath Balltzglier (bass) and Brandon Coker (drums), all members of North Point, Fee the band not only serves North Point and 7:22 (the Tuesday night single adult ministry) but travels the country leading worship at student camps and conferences. Fee has been part of the Passion journey with Louie and the worship leaders, Tomlin, David Crowder, Matt Redman and Charlie Hall. “(This) has been the single most shaping thing for me as a worship leader.”

Steve became rooted in his local church at North Point Community Church in Atlanta Georgia and contributed songs to different worship projects over time. He recorded an independent record and the group of church musicians playing with him evolved into an established band – Fee. “As we visited different church bodies and parts of the country, Fee’s aim has been to see people move forward in God’s kingdom. We simply want everyone to experience what happens when the people of God come together to worship.”

“The Church, God’s avenue for reaching the world, is Plan A, and we want to write songs for the Church to sing, not just to listen to. Fee is one of many that simply want to equip the Church to see massive things about God and do massive things for God. We are a part of a body that lasts forever.” www.myspace.com/stevefee
Michael Card MICHAEL CARD. In a career that spans over 25 years, Michael Card has recorded over 20 albums with over four million in sales and 19 #1 hits like "El Shaddai," "Love Crucified Arose," and "Emmanuel." He has authored or co-authored over 14 books, hosted two radio programs, won multiple Dove Awards and written in a wide range of magazines. The popularity of his work seems a stark contrast to his goal in life, to simply, and quietly teach the Bible. Card's vision is to edify Christ in the context of community in order to help facilitate the growth of smaller and more intimate communities within churches and neighborhoods. In light of a renewed focus on ministry, Card will continue doing what he loves to do; dig deep into the Word, ask questions and invite others to join him at the Summit as we all journey into God's Word. www.michaelcard.com
Brenton Brown BRENTON BROWN. Webster defines "change" as "an alteration" or "to undergo a transformation." And to songwriter/worship leader Brenton Brown, change is not just an idea. It is tangible proof of God's grace, and something he has experienced first-hand on multiple occasions. Brenton grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. Growing up in a white family in South Africa during the '70s and '80s, Brenton was seven years old before he first became politically aware. In high school, Brenton had seen apartheid beginning to fall apart, and by the time he was in university, Nelson Mandela was released from prison. It was a historic time, and Brenton was eyewitness to it all. Brenton received a prestigious Rhodes Scholarship to study for two years at Oxford University, so he moved to the U.K. Brenton joined the Vineyard Church in 1996 as a worship leader and eventually lead the development of the Vineyard worship movement, nurturing the worship program there. It was also while he was in the U.K. that he met close friend and fellow songwriter Brian Doerksen, who co-penned "Hallelujah (Your Love is Amazing)" with Brenton. The impact of those experiences has inspired some of the songs on Brenton's first solo album, Everlasting God. Although it is his first solo project, Brenton's name is not unfamiliar in worship circles around the world. Having written such modern worship classics as "Lord Reign in Me," "Hallelujah (Your Love is Amazing)," "All Who Are Thirsty," "Holy," "Humble King," "Hosanna," and "Everlasting God," just to name a few, he has been a featured worship leader on several Vineyard Music UK albums and co-producer on two -- Surrender and Holy. www.brentonbrown.com
Laura Story LAURA STORY. In 2002, Story began recording her first independent album. Story recalls…."I was driving down a mountain road, eyes fixed on the majesty of my Creator, when I started worshiping and singing, 'Indescribable…uncontainable…You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name…'" Story added verses on the piano and finished the song while reading God's Word, Job chapter 38. What brought "Indescribable" into churches all across the U.S. and the world was when Chris Tomlin recorded it for his 2004 release, Arriving. Story was shocked. "I remember saying, 'That song will never work for corporate worship. There's no way congregations are going to sing that!' But it's humbling and amazing to see what the Lord has done. When I was looking for it, I couldn't find it. When I just started worshiping, He blew me out of the water." The list of accolades goes on, but even with millions of people now familiar with her words, Story takes no more credit for writing them than she would for creating the Appalachian Mountains. "I always think the last song I wrote was my last song. Just when my mind is completely blank and I don't know if I'll write a song again, God surprises me. The songs are His -- I'm just the first person who gets to hear them." Laura and her husband, Martin Elvington, live in Atlanta, Georgia, where she is the worship leader and women's pastor for the arts and music community at Perimeter Church. www.laurastorymusic.com

Vicky Beeching VICKY BEECHING. Holding Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Theology from Oxford University, Vicky has spent long years digging into and digesting God’s Word. This deep foundation is expressed in her lyrics and gives her maturity beyond her years. Vicky is a Spirit-filled Brit – perhaps best described in the words of Gordon Fee as “a scholar on fire.” She holds a strong belief that our offering must be far more than songs. God calls us to live a lifestyle of worship. Quoting passages from Isaiah, Amos and Malachi, Vicky describes what God is looking for -- worship that is practical as well as musical. “He asks us to reach out to the poor, the needy and the broken -- this must be the overflow of our times of singing. It’s time for us to put our lyrics into motion, our intentions into application – our worship into action.” vickybeeching.typepad.com
